Tooth Coloured Fillings MARSDEN & LOGAN

Do you need a quick and effective

solution for tooth decay?

According to Hospital and Healthcare, 90% of Australian adults experience tooth decay in permanent teeth. This makes it the most common chronic disease in the country. Tooth decay can be a result of consuming too much sugar, smoking, or drinking on a regular basis. When you expose your teeth to these substances, you’re also exposing them to cavities brought forward by tooth decay.

At Crestmead Dental, we are here to help you fight all tooth decay related issues. Our specialized treatments stop infection from spreading. Through tooth coloured fillings, our dentists prevent additional damage to your smile.

What’s the appropriate choice of filling for me?

There are a few different ways you’ll be able to get your cavity filled at Crestmead Dental. While the necessary process for the procedure is the same, you have a choice of material you’d like your filling to have. Some of them are more noticeable materials than others, so we recommend tooth coloured options for those who want a natural look.

There are three types of fillings you can opt for in your appointment

Composite resin

This is the most commonly used tooth coloured filling. Though more expensive than silver amalgam, it will get your teeth looking good as new.

Glass-ionomer cement (or GIC)

This material is best used for places where you won’t bite down, as it is less durable than composite resin.

This is the most expensive option, but it is long-lasting.

We Have the Tooth Coloured Filling Solution You Need

At Crestmead Dental, we guarantee we have the solution you desire. With tooth coloured fillings, you’ll be able to fix cavities or broken teeth without even realizing the material is there.
